Following the effective implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST) on 1 April 2015, the insurer will charge the relevant GST amount at 6% or at the prevailing rate on the applicable portion of your insurance premium/fee/charges for the applicable period of insurance coverage from the GST effective date onwards in accordance to the statutory requirement of GST.
